This Russian artist's mirror work photography uses mirrors in different landscapes, allowing them to reflect its surroundings, with highly visually-engaging results. The mirror seems to blend in with the environment, so that one often has to look closely to find the mirror itself. In other photographs, the mirror reflects the opposite of its surrounding, highlighting and enhancing the natural beauty of the scene. This experimentation with mirrors will be explored in my generative research to figure out a visual practice that encompasses the phantom limb and sensation experience.
