Hoods // Elizabeth Moran

Draping and forming polystyerene to mimic fabric flowing in the wind, Moran's hoods are particularly effective at challenging the viewer's perception of the body as the sculptured hoods appear to exist and flow against the form of the human body, without the body even being there – an idea that I might like to explore in my generative research for the translation of phantom sensation into design and visual communication.
