Levita Shelf // Alessandro Loschiavo

by mo on Saturday, April 9, 2011

This column of shelves is made of stainless steel - designed to look like sheets of levitating paper, the user or viewer is playfully deceived when they touch it, or even place an object onto the surface of the shelves. Again, this distorts the user's sense of the body self in that that they expect the tactile feel of paper yet instead, they are presented with cold steel.
